LET'S DO THE MATH TO UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH WE SAVE? (example on 6KW in 10 years - half the useful life of the panel)

Let's make a calculation for a 6kw photovoltaic system (it must be well proportioned to your consumption), for example 10 panels, 600w each, distributed over 50 square meters space, roof or ground.

 

Cleaning each time would cost around €500 if done professionally*, which in 10 years brings the cost to 5,000 .

Most people don't do it and this will cause the system to lose efficiency to an extent proportional to the quantity and type of dirt.

*(consider that a job done well requires the use of safe aerial platforms and cleaning with osmotized water)

Making a general estimate, the dirt that accumulates every day and the inefficiency from excessive heat in hot periods also erode 25% of production per year, which for a 6kW system (which produces on average 7000Kwh/year) a loss of at least 1750KWh , due to dirt.

 

This means that you leave €175/year - €1750/10 years of electricity you are wasting because you don't produce it and you can't sell it to the system (average selling price at €0.10/Kwh) Moreover you need to buy that lack of power back from the market at €525 (Considering an average purchase price of €0.3/kwh and continuously increasing prices over the last 20 years))
